Our Goals

Our long term objective is to strategically fund those who share God's transformational love and truth until Christ returns. Our strategy to meet this objective is to use invested giving to create a sustainable, growing investment portfolio that we will give to long and short term missionaries. We measure the short term goals of Treasures in Heaven by how much we raise, how much we earn, and how much we give.

2011 Goals

  1. Raise $20,000 to $50,000 dollars in donations
    • 30 people giving $600 / year = 18,000
    • 10 people giving $2000 / year = 10,000
    • 5 people giving $5000 / year = 25,000
  2. Give $2000 to support individual missionaries.
    • Long-Term - Western Europe, South America, Central Africa, India
    • Short-Term - North America and others

Long-term & Benchmarks Goals

As part of running an ever-growing, ever-giving, responsible organization, we continue to measure ourselves against these best-in-class investing and non-profit goals.

  • We tithe - outgoing donations should exceed 10% of incoming donations
  • We invest wisely - match or beat the S&P500 index over a 10 year time horizon
  • We always give - 4.0% average annual giving to missions vs. total assets
  • We're frugal - 7.5% administrative cost vs. donations + 0.5% vs. total assets
