Information TiH Collects
TiH gathers two types of information about you on the Site:

1. Information you provide through optional, voluntary submissions throughout the Site. These optional, voluntary submissions include, but are limited to, requests: (a) to receive our e-mails and/or print publications, (b) to participate in our surveys and polls, (c) to email a page to a friend, (d) to make a purchase at our online store, (e) to make a donation online, and/or (e) to make use of any of our other online services. TiH collects this information from you at several different points on our Site, including, but not limited to: the "Contact Us" and "Donate" pages on the Site.

Registration
In some cases our site uses securely encrypted contribution response forms for visitors who choose to use these forms to provide information, request information, and/or make donations. Financial information that is collected is used to bill you for donations pledged. Unique identifiers (e.g., a TiH account number) may be collected from you to assist in matching current donation information with donor history in our record systems.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Cookies are used to enhance the experience while visiting this Site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our Site. For instance, by setting a cookie on our Site, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our Site. If you reject the cookie, you may still use our Site. The only drawback to this is that you will be limited in some areas of our Site. For example, you will not be able to fully participate in any of our or polls that take place. Site and Service Updates
We may also send you site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We use the service to communicate with you to provide requested services, and to inform you of any issues relating to your account.
